Janet Footman BA (Hons)

Janet studied Fine Art at Portsmouth University and graduated in June 1999. She is continuing with her research at Portsmouth.
Her work was exhibited at the Cubitt Gallery in London and 'Nest' will be exhibited at Birmingham University in June 2000 to mark the century celebrations.
Janet's work is predominantly recorded photographic imagery of live performance art and includes her sculpture as props in the performances. Other works include 'Mother Ruler' showing how women will never relinquish the powerful role of mother and 'Replacement' a work relating to the use of hormones drawing parallels with hormones being used in livestock.
